DELAY IN ADMISSION OF FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AT UNIMA WORRIES PARENTS

Parents and guardians have complained that the delay in admission of fist year student  at the University of Malawi (UNIMA) is having psychological effect to their Children.

They said that their wards, who were admitted into first year at various UNIMA constituent colleges, have now stayed for over 8 months without any communication from the university office.

When approached for comment,UNIMA spokesperson Akuzike  Malewiche declined to comment.

 

The UNIMA calendar got disrupted during the  DPP regime where University lecturers put their foot down demanding for academic freedom.
