FAM President Haiya Sends Best Wishes to Wanderers, Silver Ahead of CAF Campaigns

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) president Fleetwood Haiya has extended his best wishes to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Silver Strikers as they gear up for continental football action this Sunday.
In a Facebook post, Haiya appeared in the colours of both clubs, urging Malawians to unite in support of the teams.
“Our representatives Silver Strikers face Elgeco Plus in the CAF Champions League, while Mighty Wanderers will take on Jwaneng Galaxy in the CAF Confederation Cup. I would like to wish the two clubs all the best in their campaigns and call upon all Malawians to rally behind our flag carriers,” he wrote.
Haiya stressed that the experience gained from the competitions would be vital in improving Malawian football.
“Let us unite in support of our teams as they represent Malawi on the continental stage. The exposure and experience they will tap in these competitions will be invaluable in the development of our football. Together, we stand stronger, and together, we are Transforming the Game,” his statement read.
