Malawian Dream Party Congratulates Peter Mutharika on Presidential Victory

The Malawian Dream Party (MDP) has extended its congratulations to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika following his victory in the 2025 presidential elections.
In an official statment signed by MDP President Mussa Medson Zalira and Secretary General Rabson K. Chilewa, the party praised Mutharika’s leadership and vision for Malawi, pledging full support for his administration.
The statement emphasized MDP’s commitment to working with the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) to advance unity, development and prosperity in the country.
“We pledge our unwavering support and allegiance to your administration as you prepare to lead Malawi into a new era of unity, progress, and prosperity. We stand ready to work hand in hand with you in the spirit of patriotism, peace, and inclusivity,” read the statement.
MDP wished Mutharika wisdom, courage, and God’s blessings as he assumes the responsibilities of office.
The congratulatory message that Face of Malawi has see, has been formally issued from the party headquarters in Lilongwe today on 24th September 2025.
The Party was missing on this year’s recent elections alleged that its election certificate for the 2025 presidential race was deliberately delayed, affecting its participation in the contest.
