Man Arrested in Ntcheu for Suspected Murder of Friend Following Night of Drinking

Police in Ntcheu District have arrested 28-year-old Bilton Frank on suspicion of murdering Gustino Zandala, also aged 28.
According to Ntcheu Police Spokesperson Jacob Khembo, the incident occurred on the night of October 2, when the suspect was drinking alcohol with the deceased. The two reportedly had a fight before Frank left the scene.
Later that night, community members heard someone screaming, and the following morning, Gustino was found dead.
The matter was reported to Bilira Police Station, and a medical examination confirmed that the victim died from massive blood loss caused by multiple stab wounds.
Police investigations led to the discovery of a piece of the deceased’s clothing, which helped link the suspect to the crime.
Bilton Frank, who hails from Zamasiya Village, under Traditional Authority Makwangwala in Ntcheu, will appear in court once investigations are complete.
