Plasma TV, Guns Seized as Kasungu Police Crack Down on Burglaries

Police in Kasungu have arrested three individuals suspected of involvement in multiple house break-ins and thefts in the area.
Police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho identified the suspects as 20-year-old Chikondi Banda, 26-year-old Thom Banda, and 26-year-old Madalitso Zgambo.
According to Kachikho, the arrests followed an investigation into a series of burglaries and thefts reported in and around Kasungu town.
“The suspects were found in possession of stolen items, including a plasma television, two handguns, and various computer equipment,” Kachikho said.
Chikondi Banda comes from Kapawala Village, under Chief Kaomba, while Thom Banda and Madalitso Zgambo hail from Katema Village, under Chief Suza, all in Kasungu District. The suspects are currently in police custody pending further investigation.
