Man On The Run After Defiling 13 Year-old Girl In Zambia

A 20-year-old man identified as Mainza Hachikulu from Mwenda chiefdom in Chikankata district in Zambia  is on the run after he defiled a 13-year-old girl.

It has been reported that on the evening of 19th October 2025, the victim attended a church event within Manzila village and while at the gathering, the suspect requested to use her phone, which she handed over.

After the event ended, the victim asked for the phone back, but the suspect claimed to have given it to another person whose identity he did not disclose.

The suspect is said to have asked the victim to accompany him, stating they were going to retrieve the phone, but while on the way, he allegedly dragged her into a nearby bush and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.
