Mzimba Boys Go Wild – Viagra Becomes the New “Bedroom Power” Secret

A new investigation by Malawi24 in Mzimba has revealed a growing trend among young men who are using Viagra to enhance their sexual performance.
Findings show that 6 to 7 out of every 10 young men in the district admit to using the drug, often without medical advice.
“I use Viagra because I want to satisfy my girlfriend,” confessed one young man who spoke on condition of anonymity.
However, health experts have warned that taking the drug without prescription can lead to serious side effects, including heart complications, high blood pressure, and dependency.
The Mzimba Youth Organization (MYO) has since launched an awareness campaign to educate young people on the dangers of using sexual enhancement drugs recklessly.
“This problem is widespread, and we’ve decided to take action. We’ll be visiting schools and communities to teach young people about the risks of using Viagra without proper guidance,” said Sarah Phiri, one of the program officers at MYO.
Health officials are urging parents, teachers, and community leaders to help guide the youth towards safe and informed decisions about their sexual health.
