Man Suspected of Killing Wife Amid Mental Health Concerns in Kasungu

A man in Chinkhoma, Kasungu District, is suspected of killing his 25-year-old wife, Devota Kaluba, in the early hours of today.

Relative of the deceased, Abel Tembo, identified the suspect as Vincent Chirwa, whom they say has a history of mental illness that sometimes leads to unpredictable behaviour.

Tembo described the incident as extremely violent, noting that the victim sustained severe injuries and was found in a pool of blood.

Meanwhile, Police in Kasungu District have not yet released an official statement on the matter.
