A spokesman for the Office of the Vice President, Richard Mveriwa, has declined to comment on a letter indicating that Dr Jane Ansah is expected to travel to the United Kingdom with 15 people this month.

However, Mveriwa confirmed that Dr Ansah will leave the country on December 26 and return on January 10 next year, stressing that the trip is not related to government work.

This comes as the government has announced that it has reduced both the number of trips and the number of officials traveling abroad in an effort to save the economy, which is currently in crisis.
