Former Ntcheu MP Joyce Chiyendausiku Laid to Rest

The body of former Member of Parliament for Ntcheu, Joyce Chiyendausiku, was laid to rest today at her home village of Nachiye under Traditional Authority Kwataine in Ntcheu District.
Confirming the development, her son, who is also a Member of Parliament for Ntcheu Central, Paul Wongani Ng’oma, said Chiyendausiku died yesterday at Good Hope Hospital in Lilongwe after suffering from a heart-related illness.
The late Chiyendausiku served as a Member of Parliament under the United Democratic Front (UDF) from 2004 to 2009.
Family members, local leaders and mourners gathered to pay their last respects, remembering her contribution to public service and development in Ntcheu District.
