Police Arrest Man for Alleged Possession of Cannabis in Karonga

Police in Karonga District have arrested a 26-year-old man, William Kishombe, on suspicion of possessing cannabis without a licence.
Karonga Police spokesperson Margaret Msiska said Kishombe was arrested on Tuesday during routine police patrols conducted in various parts of the district.
Msiska confirmed that the suspected cannabis has been sent to Lunyangwa Research Station for analysis.
Kishombe, who hails from Mwafilaso Village under Traditional Authority Kyungu, is expected to appear in court soon to answer charges related to illegal possession of cannabis.
