Six Arrested in Ntchisi for Possessing Illegal Agricultural Inputs from FISP

Police in Ntchisi have arrested six individuals suspected of illegally possessing cheap agricultural inputs under the Fertilizer Subsidy Input Programme (FISP).

Police spokesperson Salomy Zgambo confirmed that the arrests took place yesterday in Malomo. The seized items included fertilizer and seeds.

The suspects arrested include the sellers of the inputs: Stella Banda (32), Merriam Mtema (25), Steve Emmanuel (22), Benard Mtema (20), James Kambalame (46), and Misheck Bua (31).

All suspectssuspects will appear in court soon.
