Police Investigate Man Found Bathing Naked in UTH Mortuary

Police in Lusaka Zambia are investigating an unusual incident involving a man who was found bathing naked inside the mortuary at the University Teaching Hospitals (UTH).

The man, identified only as Michael and believed to be aged between 25 and 30, was discovered in the early hours of Tuesday. According to police sources, he was bathing in an area of the mortuary where bodies are normally cleaned.

An eyewitness quoted by police said hospital staff were initially frightened by the incident but later realized that the man himself appeared terrified.

“At first we were all scared, but when we went closer, we discovered that he was the one who was very scared. We did not find any officers at the mortuary, so we apprehended him ourselves.
