Former manager of Malawian amapiano star Temwah, Temwani Jeffery, has confirmed that their management partnership ended on good terms, following the singer’s announcement that she is taking a break from music.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Jeffery said Temwah had paused all music and music-related activities until December this year, a decision she described as personal and made after the two had already mutually agreed to part ways professionally.

“I can confirm that we concluded our management partnership amicably and on good terms before she made this personal decision,” Jeffery said.

She added that he holds nothing but respect for Temwah’s talent and supports her decision to step back from the music scene.

“Temwah is an incredible human being and artist, and I will always be cheering for her from the sidelines,” she said.

Jeffery also reflected on the five years he spent managing the singer, describing the period as “nothing short of amazing”, noting that building Temwah’s brand from the ground up provided valuable lessons.

Temwah’s announcement has sparked widespread discussion among fans and industry observers, with many expressing curiosity about the sudden pause, which comes just weeks after she was spotted working on new music.

For now, Temwah is expected to remain off the music scene until December, when activities are scheduled to resume.
