Flames midfielder Lloyd ‘Benega’ Aaron has parted ways with Qatari Second Division side Muaither SC, despite having two and a half years remaining on his three-year contract.

The former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder joined the Qatari outfit in July 2025 and went on to feature in almost all of the club’s matches during his six-month stay.

Muaither SC confirmed Aaron’s departure in a statement published on their official website and social media platforms, announcing that the Malawian international has left the club alongside seven other players whose next destinations are yet to be disclosed.

“Thank you for what you have given to Muaither Club and good luck on your journey ahead,” reads part of the club’s farewell message.

Aaron’s exit brings an early end to his stint in Qatar after a promising start with the second-tier side.
