Police in Liwonde, Machinga, have arrested 27-year-old Thoko Dovika for the alleged theft of Southern Region Water Board (SRWB) equipment worth K342,000.

According to Liznet Kathumba, the deputy spokesperson for Liwonde Police, the suspect was apprehended after being found in possession of a bag containing suspected stolen items, including various electrical and water distribution wires.
