Man Commits Su!cide After Being Caught Red-handed Bonking Someone’s Wife

A 35-year-old man, identified as Douglas Nazombe, has died by suicide after he was caught having sexual intercourse with another man’s wife in Balaka.
According to Balaka Police Public Relations Officer, Gladson M’bumpha, the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon at a rest house located within Balaka Town. It is reported that the discovery of the affair led to the tragic decision by the deceased.
“As police, we visited the scene and took the body to Balaka District Hospital for a postmortem. Medical personnel revealed that the deceased died due to poisoning by a drug,” said M’bumpha.
The deceased, Douglas Nazombe, hailed from Misomali Village under Traditional Authority Nkaya in Balaka District.
Police have since urged the public to seek counseling and mediation services when faced with social or relationship challenges instead of taking their own lives.
