PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER DIES IN DOWA

A primary school teacher at Namwiri Primary School in Dowa has died.
The teacher, Lestina Kalirani, passed away at Dowa District Hospital after a short illness.
Family members say she had been complaining of excessive abdominal gas before she was admitted to the hospital.
According to funeral arrangements, Kalirani will be laid to rest tomorrow, January 29, 2026, at Mthandi Village, Traditional Authority Mponela, in Dowa District.
