Veteran Journalist Francis Tayanjah-Phiri Laid to Rest

The body of veteran journalist Francis Tayanjah-Phiri was laid to rest on Tuesday at Stella Maris Cemetery in Blantyre.
Tayanjah-Phiri died last Sunday after a short illness.
Journalists, family members, and other dignitaries gathered to pay their last respects during the burial ceremony.
During his career, he worked for several media houses, including the Times Group.
He voluntarily retired from the Times Group in 2018 after years of service to journalism.
Born in 1967, Tayanjah-Phiri is survived by two children.
