Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) Acting Director General Mayamiko Nkoloma has asked MultiChoice Malawi to review the cost of its subscriptions to make the service more accessible to Malawians.

Speaking during an engagement meeting held over the weekend, MultiChoice Malawi Managing Director Averess Ndlovu-Chella said the company has committed to exploring ways to review its pricing structure as it seeks to grow the media and entertainment industry.

Ndlovu-Chella also emphasised the company’s commitment to strengthening dialogue and engagement with the regulator to maintain a cordial working relationship.

She further appealed for MACRA’s support in facilitating the repatriation of revenues to MultiChoice’s parent company in South Africa.
