Man Found Dead in Maize Field at Chezi in Dowa

A man has been found dead in a maize field at Chezi Market in Dowa District.

Dowa Police spokesperson Sub Inspector Alice Sitima said police believe the deceased was a motorcycle taxi operator. The body was found wearing a striped shirt, a white shirt, and black trousers.

Sitima said post-mortem results confirmed that the man died from severe head injuries. The body is currently being kept at Dowa District Hospital.

She has appealed to members of the public who may have a missing relative to report to Dowa Police Station or any nearest police station.
