Man to spend 10 years in jail for having s3x with 10-Year-Old Girl In Ndirande

The Blantyre Magistrates Court has sentenced James Kabango, 45, to ten years in prison after finding him guilty of having sex with a 10-year-old girl in Mtambalika, Ndirande, Blantyre.
Prosecutor Felezia Zainab told the court that in December 2021, the elder lured the girl into having sex with him and threatened her not to reveal the truth.
Four years later, Kabango invited the girl to his house again and sexually assaulted her, but this time the girl confessed to her father, who informed the police about the incident.
But the man denied the charges, prompting the prosecution to call five witnesses.
Senior Resident Magistrate Mercy Bonongwe said she had issued the sentence as a warning to others with similar thoughts.
