Zomba Police PRO Inspector Patricia Sipiliano Laid to Rest

Inspector Patricia Sipiliano, the Public Relations Officer for Zomba Police Station, has been laid to rest at her home village of Sogoja under Traditional Authority Mwambo in Zomba District.
The burial, which took place around 2:00 PM, was marked by deep emotion as family, friends, colleagues, and community members gathered to pay their final respects.
In her tribute, Senior Police Officer Lena Maere described Inspector Sipiliano as a committed, disciplined, and passionate officer who served the Malawi Police Service with distinction. She said Sipiliano’s professionalism and strong collaboration with the media strengthened the relationship between the police and the public.
Born on May 24, 1986, she joined the police service on April 9, 2010, dedicating over a decade of her life to law enforcement. Her legacy of dedication and service will be remembered by many.
