Man Re Arrested in Blantyre Over Alleged Attempt to Remove Human Heart and Liver

A man identified as Duncan Chidothi has been arrested again over allegations that he attempted to remove a person’s heart and liver.

Chidothi was previously arrested in 2023 on similar allegations and reportedly served two years in prison. However, shortly after completing his sentence, he has found himself back in police custody facing fresh accusations.

According to reports presented in court, another man, Tonny Banda, claims that Chidothi attempted to attack him with a knife with the intention of killing him and removing his heart and liver.

The suspect has since appeared before the court in Blantyre and is currently being held in custody as he awaits the court’s ruling.

Police have not yet released further details, and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
