Ntcheu Police Destroy 500 Cannabis Plants in Njolomole Village

Police in Ntcheu have uprooted 500 cannabis plants in Njolomole Village, under the jurisdiction of Chief Njolomole.
This operation comes just five days after officers destroyed another batch of cannabis plants in Wanyemba Village, under Chief Kwataine.
Ntcheu Police spokesperson Inspector Jacob Khembo said the community cooperated with authorities by providing information about the illegal cultivation.
Inspector Khembo added that three individuals suspected of cultivating the cannabis managed to flee before the operation was completed.
