‘Patridge’s Appointment as RBM Governor Is A Gain for Malawi’-Ottober

Old Mutual Malawi Limited Board Chairperson Innocentia Ottober has described the recent appointment of Dr. George Partridge as Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Governor as a gain for the entire nation.
Ottober said this in Blantyre when Partridge and two other outgoing directors namely Bernadette Mandoloma, and Bridget Jumbe were bidding farewell to the company.

“We know that Dr. Partridge has recently been appointed as Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi, a role that speaks to his decades of exemplary service to this nation. The entire country will benefit from his leadership at the helm of our central bank.
“Dr. Partridge, you join the Reserve Bank at a critical moment for our economy. Malawi needs the kind of steady, experienced, and principled leadership that you have demonstrated throughout your career. On behalf of the Old Mutual family, we wish you every success in this new role. We believe in you,” said Ottober.

Ottober then saluted all the three outgoing directors for their deep expertise and strategic vision.
On his part Dr. Partridge said his journey at Old Mutual was so exceptional and the company will remain part of him.
Concurring with Partridge’s remarks Jumbe described her six years stay at Old Mutual Life Assurance as an eye opener.

“Am leaving the company a very happy person and i believe the company is in safe hands,” said Jumbe.
The cocktail farewell event was held under theme; “Triple Crown Legacy.”
