Malawian Amapiano star Zeze Kingston has set a new YouTube record in Malawi after his song Ndilira Mumvula, featuring Zambian singer Yo Maps, reached 1 million views in just five days.
The milestone means the song has broken the previous Malawi record held by Driemo with his hit Joker, which reached 1 million views in six days.
With this achievement, “Ndilira Mumvula” now becomes the fastest Malawian song to reach one million views on YouTube.
The track continues to dominate both Malawi and Zambia music charts, showing the impact of the cross-border collaboration.
For any artist to break this new record in Malawi, their song will need to reach 1 million views in four days or less.
