Police Arrest Former Immigration Chief Charles Kalumo at Kamuzu Airport

Police have arrested former Immigration chief Brigadier Charles Kalumo on allegations of abuse of office and failure to comply with immigration laws.
Police spokesperson Lael Chimtembo confirmed that Kalumo was arrested on Sunday afternoon upon his arrival at Kamuzu International Airport from South Africa.
Chimtembo said Kalumo is currently in police custody as investigations continue.
