Man Arrested Over Murder of 21-Year-Old in Chiradzulu

Police in Chiradzulu have arrested Francis Biliati in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Chimwemwe Gogodera.
Chiradzulu Police Public Relations Officer, Hurbert Mwangoka, said the case was reported in December 2025 by the victim’s elder brother, Gift Gogodera, after the body was discovered dumped near a graveyard at Kalungwe Village in Chiradzulu.
Mwangoka said investigations led to Biliati’s arrest on March 27, 2026.
During questioning, Biliati admitted to committing the offence and revealed that he carried out the crime with an accomplice who is still at large.
