Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has officially joined Inter Miami on a free transfer, adding another major chapter to his decorated football career.

The 34-year-old midfielder joins the MLS club after leaving Manchester United at the end of the 2025–2026 season. United decided not to trigger an extension in his contract as part of efforts to reduce the club’s wage bill and rebuild the midfield with younger players.

Casemiro’s departure from Old Trafford also opened the door for the midfielder to pursue a new challenge, eventually leading to his move to the United States.

At Inter Miami, Casemiro will now share the dressing room with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, adding another iconic chapter to a career that has already seen him play alongside some of football’s biggest stars.

The Brazilian previously shared the dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United and Neymar Jr. with the Brazilian national team.

From Real Madrid to Manchester United and now Inter Miami, Casemiro continues to build one of the most decorated careers in modern football.

The five-time UEFA Champions League winner now joins Inter Miami’s star-studded squad, which includes Messi and Suárez, as the club looks to strengthen its challenge in Major League Soccer.
