HIGH COURT REBUFFS GRANTING PP INJUNCTION

 The High Court in Blantyre has denied granting injunction the ruling People’s Party(PP) stopping Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) from announcing both official and unofficial results.

According to PP lawyer Christopher Masanje, the party also wanted the court to stop Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS) and Malawi Broadcasting Corporation from announcing unofficial results.

PP is claiming that the opposition especially DPP has rigged the election and is asking manual re-counts of the votes.
