10 PEOPLE ARRESTED IN MANGOCHI FRACAS

Police in Mangochi have arrested 10 people following the demonstrations that residence in the district are staging.
According to our reporter who rushed to the scene, the protestors (PP, UDF and MCP supporters) are demonstrating over rigging claims in the just recent held tripartite election and calling for recount of votes.
The protesters stoned the police station in the district causing police to retaliate and fire teargas which has led to six students from St Monica School collapsing and being rushed to Mangochi District Hospital.
