FISHERMAN DIES, 10 OTHERS MISSING IN LAKE MALAWI

A fisherman has been found dead while 10 others are feared dead in Nkhatabay following strong Mwera winds on Lake Malawi.
Nkhatabay police spokesperson Sergeant Martin Bwanali Confirmed of the development and identified the deceased as Philip Chirwa 45.
Bwanali further said that 8 canoes have been discovered floating enhancing fears that the missing fishermen might have drowned.
Meanwhile the police have launched a rescue team, using patrol boat, to search for the missing individuals.
