Still in the hunt for their first Africa Cup of Nations appearance since 2010, Malawi recently became Umbro’s latest national team signing. The Flames unveiled their 2014/15 home and away kits during the partnership announcement.
The Malawi men’s national team went on to debut their red home kit during a pair of AFCON 2015 qualifiers against Algeria earlier this month.
Malawi’s 14/15 home and away kits both use the same design from Umbro. Previously unseen, it features a retro crew neck collar reminiscent of football shirts of the 1960s. Rings in the same colors as those used on the collar appear about an inch from the sleeve cuff’s.
Malawi are currently ranked 98th in the world and 26th in Africa by FIFA.
