Former Capital Radio reporter and son to former Malawi Defence Force Brigadier Denis Chirwa was stabbed to death by unknown thugs when he went on a night out with friends on Saturday.
Denis was stabbed severely in the head and his body and died on the spot on Saturday night.
According to Kenya’s Standard Digital report indicate that Denis was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone and other personal items when he was with his friends at a local bar watching football at about 7pm when the incident happened.
Chirwa was a third year student at Kenya’s Catholic University of St Pauls in Limuru.
However Kenya Police have not yet arrested anyone on the matter but they said investigations are underway.
