Police in Mangochi have arrested a 27 year old Wyson Mulowa, who was working as a security guard at Admarc, for allegedly stealing 10 bags of subsidised fertiliser worth K169, 400.
Mangochi Police Publicist Roderick Maida said the suspect hails from Makoka Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chigalu in Blantyre, was arrested after being found with 10 bags of fertiliser.
He will be charged with theft by servant contrary to Section 286 of the Penal Code which attracts a maximum sentence of 14 years imprisonment with hard labour.
