THOUSANDS ATTEND INDEPENDENCE DAY AT KAMUZU STADIUM

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika yesterday led thousands of Malawians during celebration of 51 years of Independence anniversary at a colourful ceremony at Kamuzu stadium in Blantyre.
President Arthur Peter Mutharika was joined by President Edgar Lungu of Zambia and Kenya Deputy President William Ruto and thousands of Malawians were part of the historical day.
The celebrations were held under the theme; Towards Transformation For Inclusive Development in Malawi
Malawi beat Uganda 1-0 in independence match.The goal was by scored by Chiukepo Msowoya
