Two people are reported dead in the Central district of Dedza after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on Friday night.
Dedza Police spokesperson Edward Kabango has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press and identified the deceased as Joseph Salimoni and Neliyo Benito.
According to Kabango, the accident happened after one of the tyres of the vehicle burst and the driver failed to control the vehicle.
Kabango said the two were pronounced dead upon arrival at Dedza District Hospital.
