CHILIMA LEAVES THE COUNTRY FOR TANZANIA TODAY

The country’s Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima will leave the country today Wednesday, November 04, 2015 for Tanzania to attend the inauguration of President-elect John Magufuli.

This has been disclosed in a Press Statement released by Pilirani Phiri made available to FaceofMalawi.

According to a statement, Chilima has been delegated by His Excellency President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika to attend the swearing in ceremony at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Thursday, 5th November.

The veep returns home the same Thursday soon after the inauguration through Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe.

Magufuli, Known as “The Bulldozer”, he won with 58% of the vote to the 40% of his main rival Edward Lowassa.
