ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIEST OF DEDZA DIOCESE DIES

Death has been announced of father Rodrick Zinyongo of Dedza Diocese.
This was disclosed in a press statement released by the Catholic Secretariat of the Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) on Wednesday made available to FaceofMalawi.
According to the statement signed by ECM Secretary General Rev. Fr. Henry Saindi, Fr. Zinyongo passed away on Wednesday at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
Burial Mass will be on Friday, January 8 2016 at Bembeke Cathedral from 10.00 am.
Fr. Zinyongo was ordained priest in 1984.
Zinyongo got his Primary Education from Kasina PreparatorySeminary and did his Secondary Education at St Kizito Minor Seminary, then proceeded to the Major Seminaries of Kachebere in Mchinji and St Peter’s in Zomba.
