Police officer arrested for stealing computer

Information reaching FaceofMalawi indicate that a Police officer has been arrested for allegedly stealing a computer meant for registering arrested suspects at Blantyre Police Station.
The development comes barely hours after reports emerged on the media that police officers in Mangochi aided a convict to escape from prison.
Blantyre Police spokesperson Elizabeth Divala confirmed of the arrest but denied to give details of the said police officer.
