Man killed by elephants in Mangochi

A 36-year old man is reported dead in Mangochi after being trampled up by elephants.

Mangochi police Public Relations Officer Roderick Maida confirmed of the development in an interview with Zodiak online.

According to Maida, the deceased identified as Inosi Matola was killed on Monday night.

Maida said the deceased was short-sighted and had hearing problems making him fail to escape.

He said postmortem conducted at Namalaka Health Centre revealed that death was due to fractured ribs head injuries.
