THREE AFRICAN PRESIDENTS PLEDGE FOR COOPERATION

The Malawian, Zambian and Mozambican presidents held a meeting, yesterday at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe, Malawi on diverse agendas, among which to discuss a way forward for refugees who are on run from Mozambique seeking refuge in Malawi.

Mozambican leader, Filipe Nyusi at this meeting appreciated the Malawi, particularly the President Professor Peter Mutharika for playing a big role in helping these Mozambicans to find refuge in his country.

During this meeting all presidents agreed that they should support these refugees before to repatriate them to their country.

Mutharika also spoke on food shortage in his country and promised to buy more maize in order to cover the gap which created by drought.  On this note, presidents agreed that unity is essential in order to overcome such uncertainties, so each president pledged to work together.

The President of Zambia, Edgar Lungu saw the opportunity resting on Tchire Zambazi wanter way,  Nsanje Doko which could benefit their countries in one way or another.

However, all presidents admitted that the discussion is still underway on this issue.
