Sheriffs invade Blantyre International University: confiscates property worth MK17 million

Information sourced by FaceofMalawi indicates that sheriffs on Thursday invaded Blantyre International University in Naperi in Blantyre and confiscated property worth MK17 million.

The development follows a court order issued by the High Court issued on June 21 this year for unfair dismissal.

According to information sourced by this publication, the school unceremonious fired an employee from the school by the name of Bob Chimkango who retaliated by seeking court intervention hence the order.

The Sheriffs went away with the institutional desks, computers and other items worth MK17 million.

Meanwhile officials from the school are yet to comment on the matter.
