Kabwila, Njobvuyalema yet to appear before MCP disciplinary hearing

Suspended Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Spokesperson Jessie Kabwila and Lilongwe City Member of Parliament Joseph Njobvuyalema are yet to appear before the Party’s disciplinary committee.

Deputy Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Mkaka said the two will appear before the committee soon.

MCP President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera suspended Kabwila and Njobvuyalema for allegedly having a hand in the botched torching of the MCP headquarters in the capital Lilongwe recently.

Chakwera also fired from the Party Salima Central MP Felix Jumbe and Chatinkha Chidzanja Nkhoma for allegedly bringing confusion in the Party.
