Ugly face of blackouts in Malawi: Fire raises down house in Lilongwe after kid lights a candle

As power blackouts continue to torment Malawians across the country, reports reaching faceofMalawi indicates that a house in area 15 in the capital Lilongwe has been raised down by fire on the wee hours of Monday, October 10 2016.

The fire is said to have emanated from candlelight as the child tried to use light in the house due to power outages.

An eyewitness said that the mother of child was away visiting a sick neighbors child when the incident happened.

Meanwhile all properties in the house have been consumed by fire.
