Former MBC broadcaster Davies Mussa dead: burial Friday

A dark cloud has engulfed the media fraternity in the country following the passing on of veteran broadcaster Davies Mussa, who until his death was Executive Director of Maziko Radio Station.

Mussa, widely known as Ada D.E, died Wednesday morning.

According to information sourced by FaceofMalawi reporter, Mussa yesterday reported for work just as any normal day and discharged his duties; but after work, he collapsed at his home from where he was rushed to Kamuzu Central Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mussa also worked for Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) having joined the public broadcaster’s News and Current Affairs Department in 1969.

He retired from the Corporation in 2004.

Late Mussa will be laid to rest on Friday in Chikhutu village, near Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Traditional Authority (T/A) Chitukula’s area in Lilongwe.
