A woman in Nkhata bay has a baby who has a problem that forced her father to abandon her.
According to local radio, the woman is Racheal Banda and aged 24 hails from Thula Village T/A Malanda in this district , has one year old daughter Kumbukani Phiri.
The baby’s head is too big that frighten father to run away the responsibility leaving the Innocent mother to take care the baby alone.
The mother says when they took the little one to the Nkhata bay and Mzuzu hospitals they we’re told there is nothing they can do.
The condition is similar to those babies born from effected mother of Zika virus.
Meanwhile, doctors at Queen Elizabeth Central hospital have said the condition is treatable for free.
