RBM to introduce MK2000 banknote in December

Information reaching faceofMalawi indicates that the Reserve Bank of Malawi will introduce a K2,000 note from December 19, 2016.
RBM governor Charles Chuka disclosed this in media briefing held today in the commercial capital Blantyre.
According to Chuka, the decision has been arrived at due to economic challenges rocking the country.
