Vincent Wandale arrested in Lilongwe

Police in Lilongwe have arrested Peoples Land Organisation (PLO), leader Vincent Wandale for allegedly soliciting money from people in Thyolo.
National Police Spokesperson James Kadadzera confirmed of the development in an interview with faceofmalawi reporter.
According to Kadadzera, Wandale’s arrest follows a complaint the police received from concerned villagers from Thyolo.
It is alleged that Wandale ordered people in Thyolo to contribute something if they want to be given land claimed from Tea Estate owners.
Meanwhile Wandale will be transferred to Police.
